For Prince Charles to marry Camilla on the day of John Paul's funeral would be a horrible international insult, to say the least. Aside from the disrespect that should be shown to any leader, consider this:

Prince Charles is heir to not only the throne of England, but to the head (Pope, if you wish) of the Anglican Church. His mother, the Queen is currently the head of the Church of England. The Church of England was created when another Pope refused to let Henry VIII divorce. It was Henry's response to the Catholic ban on divorce.

There are just too many ways a Charles/Camilla wedding is in poor, poor taste. Charles divorced Diana before she was killed.

British Catholics (yes, there are British Catholics) will be horrified if they do this, and rightly so.
