Submarine Question?

Question - How does a nuclear submarine run aground? They supposedly have all the latest sonar, radar, etc equipment that would warn them of impending dangers. Buzzers/bells/horns should go off warning them. What is the TRUE STORY on how the sub ran aground? Was it another wave pushing them from an aftershock? Anyone have any further info?
