A 1,000-foot-thick ice block about the size of Delaware is snapping off of Antarctica

http://www.thisisinsider.com/antarctica-giant-iceberg-breaking-off-2017-1

• A giant ice block part of the Larsen C ice shelf is breaking off of a glacier in Antarctica.
• The rift is about 70 miles long.
• If the Larsen C ice shelf collapses, it could add 4 inches to sea levels.

Since the bigger part of the bulk will be underwater the 4 inches may be questionable, but not the signs of what is coming down the road.
