Baby Charlie and Basic Human Rights (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

by Old_Ponter @, 3000 miles north of north pole, Wednesday, July 05, 2017, 19:20

I is, how shall I say it, very teed off, at the whole specter of the state of "human rights" in our western society. The baby Charlie Gard issue shows that we do not have rights. The PTB, big brother, has usurped the role of the parents. How dare they state they know what is best for baby Charlie? If Charlie cannot travel to the U.S. or Rome, why can't they allow Charlie to go home and die with "dignity" as they state? Who has the best interests of the child at heart, the parents or the bureaucrats/judges maybe these judges are actually ROBOTS....

Schindler added: “We don’t need judges posing as anguished moral philosophers, weighing what makes a life worth living. We simply need them to rule on whether mothers and fathers have an inalienable right to care for their own children. Are we better off in a society where government officials are encouraged literally to separate loved ones from each other? Is it better for Charlie Gard to live and die at home with his family, or in a state institution?”
