Dear STA Readers, Writers,

Well the reprieve was only a week or two it looks like now.

North Korea has stated it will launch missiles.

North Korea will continue to test missiles, a senior official has told the BBC in Pyongyang, despite international condemnation and growing military tensions with the US.
"We'll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis," Vice Foreign Minister Han Song-ryol told the BBC's John Sudworth.

And the USA's Vice President Pence was just in South Korea visiting... and this early am in OZ, I see this.

US Deploys Two More Aircraft Carriers Toward Korean Peninsula: Yonhap

According to a report by South Korea's primary news outlet, Yonhap, the Pentagon has directed a total of three US aircraft carriers toward the Korean Peninsula, citing a South Korean government source.

Yonhap reports that in addition to the CVN-70 Carl Vinson, which is expected to arrive off the South Korean coast on April 25, the CVN-76 Ronald Reagan - currently in home port in Yokosuka, Japan - and the CVN-68 Nimitz carrier group - currently undergoing final pre-deployment assessment, Composite Training Unit Exercise off Oregon - will enter the Sea of Japan next week. According to the senior government official. the US and South Korea are discussing joint drills, which will include the three aircraft carriers and other ships.

And now Hawaii lawmakers has asked the state to prepare for a possible missile attack from North Korea...

It is with deep sadness I put up this post folks.

North Korea's response of shooting off missiles whenever it feels like it, is NO SURPRISE to anyone most likely. This "stubbornness" is one of the reasons the Korean War has been in limbo since 1953. The North Koreans are VERY difficult to work with diplomatically.

And according to the one source, 2 more aircraft carriers are on their way to those troubled waters... sigh.

A very ugly and brutal confrontation WILL happen. NK will not back down... gotta admit, the North Koreans must have balls so big they have to carry them around in a wheelbarrow. The mother of all testosterone spraying is about to commence folks. The size of the wheelbarrow contents, is in sharp contrast to the small amount of brain matter being used by them.

It isn't just about the amount of dead that will pile up on the Korean peninsula; or that Seoul, population 10 MILLION, may get nuked, or shelled into oblivion.

North Korea has about 75 submarines... which could wreak havoc on shipping just about anywhere they may get orders to go to.. There is OTHER weapons to be considered that most likely will get deployed.

Nasty chemical weapons, or biological weapons could get deployed. If North Korea has them, they WOULD get used, especially if they know they are going down in a hail of USA bombs and missiles.

The world does not know where all these OTHER weapons may be deployed already, waiting to be used, by secret agents of North Korea.

The "right" kind of biological weapon, "could" set off a terrible plague that could sweep the globe. We do not know if these exist or not, or if they are "lethal" enough to pose a global threat. I think most sane people would not want to find out by going to war with them, but it is looking like it is a given that war will happen.

There are a lot of "leaders", boffins, talking heads, saying that North Korea would not start a nuclear war, and if they did, they ONLY have maybe 20 or so nukes, and they have HALF the power of those dropped on Japan at the end of WW2.

Umm, lets see here.... only half the power, and ONLY 20 or so, maybe... gee doesn't THAT STILL spell out to a whole lot of dead people anyhow?

As I said in my last post on this hot topic... it is far from over, and WILL be a main concern for some time.

China moving so many troops to it southern border with North Korea says something too. Does it mean China will go after Jungle Kim? Or does it mean they will defend him? Or do they intend to occupy the region once the USA blows it all to smithereens?

What sort of a deal was made with China when Xi visited Trump in Florida? Give up North Korea for what??? A deal on how the worlds reserve currency issue would get settled? South China Sea claims by China allowed? Or part of them? SOMETHING was in the deal made..

North Korea was/is an issue that has been sitting on the stove for too long. NOBODY wanted to sort it out, because it was SO difficult to sort out, and the NK's are VERY difficult to deal with.

So like fools, they waited until it has become something that MUST be dealt with, or else face terrible consequences by not sorting it out.

And of course, when this war happens, it has a very likely chance of spreading, and going global..the current situation globally is terribly tense.

So, Easter didn't get screwed up by a war, which is nice, but the summer looks to be EXTRA hot this year.
