This is just amusing, like children concocting theories
based on insufficient evidence and blinkered reasoning.
This line got me laughing:
"The entire universe would become a void of single particles unconnected to anything around them, drifting aimlessly in a timeless universe."

Movement does not require a point of reference,
only space and time.

Instead of solely trying to find evidence for dark energy
pushing within the universe,
why not consider an outside force pulling at the universe?
i guess that´s too much to ask.

i agree with Younge, there can be no beginning and no end.
