what if it didn't begin at a single source point, but "popped" into being everywhere all at once? I like the Hindu concept in the Vedas that God breathes in and out. When out, God creates everything. When in, God absorbs everything back into Itself and rests. Then, "bang", repeats for eternity into infinity. I really like that.
