Today .. Saturday was the voting day for Queensland state elections. Had a lot on today and getting to the polling booth was a bit of an effort and without boring you with details we finally got to use the ballot paper to our satisfaction. ;)

I was supposed to vote at this joint [pictured below] but silly me got there at 6am instead of 8am and getting a car park even at that hour was nigh on impossible LOL. due to there being a very nice beach to bath in very near by.

An Art Deco example from the early 30's we thinks which we very much loves.

The election Satdy is ongoing ... the skinny here is.... it's all about saving the great barrier reefer and saving the spit and if you google that with Queensland in the search you will see some very not happy campers over 'ere. ;)
