I want to quote one certain piece of information near the end of the above video, at about 25:10.

"We just have to mention Itavia 880 which was, I believe, shot down in 1988 over Italy. Only 10 years later did they make public that it had been the Americans who had shot down this DC-9 with an air to air missile, mistakenly thinking it was Gaddafi's airplane. But 10 years on no one was interested."
