There was a reason the Europeans had a long history of prejudice against the Jews. There was, of course, the Catholic Church's condemnation of them as "Christ killers, but there was more. Because they were not allowed to own property in many places, they turned to what we now call service industry work, including banking. For centuries, Christians had religious laws against usury and charging interest (similar to what Islam has) so they couldn't make money in banking. But the Jews could, and they did.

Check deeply into history and you will find the financial damage done to the European countries by Jewish bankers. This is nothing new.
