DINOSAURS IN ROMAN "GAMES"?? (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

by LurkyLou @, Sunday, January 18, 2015, 17:31

HELP!! What is this?
Go to this site: What is this?
Real link is: http://www.ancient-origins.net/history/gladiators-rome-blood-sport-ancient-empire-002574
and go to the graphic below the "Carving showing a Roman Emperor presiding over gladitorial games" and look closely at what shown at the gladiator's feet.
I just know someone is going to tell me that that is a "chicken", "giraff" or "dog" from Roman times. :-)

Very interesting, though, as looks similar to some of the carvings seen on various ancient sites world wide.
