FREEDOM, DOES IT REALLY EXIST? (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

by baconbits @, Sunday, January 11, 2015, 10:33

Freedom, even the definition of it is hypocritical. As in the definition listed below, #10 general exemption or immunity:freedom from taxation and #13 a particular immunity or privilege enjoyed, as by a city or corporation:freedom to levy taxes.

What we need is compassion, tolerance, we just need to get along with each other. Yet, it seems some humans will never be satisfied unless they have power, monetary and material possessions, and the ability to control and harm others.

So to me, freedom will only ever be a state of mind due to the acceptance that we as humans have flaws. All the compassion, love, tolerance, etc., will never get rid of the evil, greedy, murdering, controlling, perverted, etc., humans that roam the earth with us.

What do we do, what can we do to bring about a world without war?

The problem is that with the rise of hierarchal civilizations (and a corresponding “ruling class”) our loyalty, bravery and willingness to battle “enemies” has been continuously manipulated by those in positions of influence and power.
