An attack by the Republican Party on the nation's Social Security program took less than one full working day. Included in a new set of rules passed by the House of Representatives on Tuesday was a new measure making it more difficult to move funds between separate accounts maintained by the Social Security Administration. A seemingly technical provision on the surface, critics says it puts millions of disabled and elderly Americans at risk and sets the stage for further attacks aimed at the wider program."

So much for "thinking" that a major change in Congress would be good for the common man eh? Granted, I was NOT "thinking" this, or expecting "good" to come of it. In fact, with a Republican majority, and a probable Republican President in 2016; it possibly could the perfect set up for a totalitarian draconian USA in the future, that is if it couldn't be argued the nation is already THERE now.

After paying into this fund our entire lives... will it disappear? Or be so watered down as to maybe, just maybe pay only the light bill once a month? Pretty aggravating, and most certainly disheartening, but NOT unexpected from our politicians these days.

Am I the only one who feels like we been screwed blue, robbed, lied to, and will be left out in the elements to meet an early demise? So much for good government eh?

Things continue to look gloomy for us baby boomers. They were willing to use us for a large tax base, but when it come time to repay the years of loyal servitude, we get thrown to the rubbish heap?
