This week, including finale tonight, syfy channel is bringing a three part mini series, "Ascension". It has an unexpected plot twist at the end of the first episode that is "ah ha" and "ah oh" combined. It is about an interstellar multi-generational space ark sent out in 1963. As such, you will notice the electronics on the ship are switches, CRT monitors and lots of wiring. Hairstyles, fashions and male sexist culture straight out of the 60's is still going on.
It is borderline between PG-13 and R rated material, mostly for sexual content and nudity. The people on the ship have developed a unique societal structure that is obviously flawed, but works until the current time.
