IMO the homeless are hated because they are a slap in the face of society about its failure to deal with related issues. Pushing the homeless away and hoping they vanish is futile and with the economy still not strong, the numbers are most likely going to grow.

If they find these people so disturbing, how about the officials have the guts to come out and propose a "soylent green" solution and to turn them into livestock feed. Out of sight is never a solution.

Jesus said to care for the weak. Let's see some real Christian values at work.
