Wow! That is a very cool graphic display! Things are a bit on the chilly side for mid-atlantic USA at this time of year and another cold jolt is coming our way. Ah yes, toxic gas distribution always seems to start out as an internal affair and after sufficient rumbling becomes a public admission er um emission! There may or may not be related lava flows--perhaps the origin of lavatory?

What worries me for you folk near the emissions is the HF or hydrogen fluoride exposure. This will wreck your lungs, bones, etc. if the dosage is high enough. Lean on your techs to reveal the emission levels from the volcano. We need Larimar's help on how to deal with HF exposure. Calcium intake will be involved no doubt. See if you can get breathing protection like gas masks with protection for acid gases in case of really deadly emissions.
