PERSON IN ISOLATION HERE IN TULSA AND BEING TESTED FOR EBOLA (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

All that is known now is that this person came to Tulsa earlier this week from West Africa. The patient went to the Oklahoma State University Medical Center in downtown Tulsa and was placed in isolation while tests are being done. A spokesperson for the OSU Medical Center says that they have been prepared for just such an event and have control of it. The hospital is open for business and there is no danger to others who need to come for care, the spokesperson said.

I expect this type of situation will continue as long as there is no restriction on people entering the US from west Africa. Sigh....
