OR, just possibly humans who are "animals" wishing to destroy another human being by torture (still going on), mutilation, decapitating, and yes, possibly eating their "enemy".

There are some human beings out there who are really sick in the head, especially in the elitist circles. Some of that may actually be initiations, some of it just their normal rituals.
