GOOD RESOURCE - THANKS - MY OWN OBSERVATIONS TOO (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

by chazzz @, USA, Thursday, October 23, 2014, 20:13 @ STANews

It is interesting to me that I have been taking some of these for my own health conditions
Chief among them:
Arthritis & Depression

I have taken Ginko Biloba for some time - Mainly to improve alertness.

I have taken St Johns's Wort on and off and back on again as I slowly got off medication for depression. I discovered quite some time ago that various brands seem to have different potency and effectiveness. One interesting observation to me was that the St John's Wort that was a darker green in the capsule seemed more effective than the lighter shades - regardless of the claimed amount of the supposed active ingredient.

I have taken SAM-e for some time, but only recently discovered that I was taking only half the recommended dosage per day for Arthritus and depression (should be 800 mg). I went to that dosage a week ago and can feel the difference in my Arthritus.

I have also found colloidal gold helps both with the Arthritus and with getting to sleep at night. I take that in the evening. I have noticed that I dream more when I take the gold and have less pain starting out first thing in the morning.

I also take Cosamine DS brand chondroitin and glucosamine for the Arthritus as well as prescription Celebrex. All of those things help - none alone seems quite enough by itself.

Also, some years ago my doctor recommended Flax Seed Oil and Niacin (non-flush) for heart health which I take. For some reason fish oil makes me feel bad, so I assume I may have an allergy to that, but flax seed oil works fine for me.
