"Dangerous creeps are everywhere" (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)
TexanMutt and all,
I know this guy who hangs out in front of the store were I go shopping. He is usually drunk, but friendly, too friendly sometimes, but I am tolerant, not to shun someone just because they are a little annoying.
I had a small scratch on my hand a week ago, he took my hand and kissed it, evidently not noticing it was scratched. I reported him to the store owner and the police and told him,"we're done!".
I did not extend my hand for him to kiss, did not extend my hand at all. In my mind, this was not a gesture of respect, but was assault, molestion.
Putting his mouth to my hand could pose a major health risk, not from ebola (yet), but numerious other diseases spread by bodily fluids. Diseases do not suffer fools, I believe we need to rethink casual contacts, social boundaries etc..
What do ya'll think? Did I overreact?
love,zyondra

Before you critize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you critize them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.
