ALERT: DEPT. OF HEALTH CONFIRMS DEADLY EBOLA VIRUS MAY NOW BE IN HONOLULU (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

HONOLULU — Queen’s Medical Center is currently treating a patient who may be infected with the deadly Ebola virus. The patient checked in Wednesday morning after experiencing symptoms.

While the patient may be infected with any common illness and confirmation is unknown at this time, the patient did travel recently from West Africa.

The patient has been involuntarily quarantined as health officials and doctors continue to run more test. However, the room the patient is confined to is not an Ebola rated quarantine zone as the facility lacks such an area. Although, smocks and masks are required to be worn in the area.
