Clyde Lewis, of Ground Zero radio, had a guest last night who was a White House Secret Service agent thirty-five years ago. In his opinion, the current problem is that political appointees, not trained in security, are top level authority in the service and override security measures when politically desired. They also don't comprehend proper procedures and countermand recommendations from the professionals under their control.
