I remind you that drinking water is not the only problem if municipal water supply stops. Think flush toilet. You better have a camp stool, plastic bags for waste, chemical disinfecting agents and extra toilet paper on hand too.

The bug out idea is a no starter if quarantine is applied. Besides, you are safer in your home environment which is prepared and under your control than out on the road encountering unknown conditions. Think, people, think.

For daily use, if it is still possible to go out, cash would be useful. I would also recommend disposable gloves and N100 masks (like for trip to grocery store.) If you did that, only buy canned or containerized food which permits sterilizing the package before opening. So, buy a few extra gallons of bleach and a few pounds of salt and learn now how to use them now.
