Sometimes I wonder if all the things we suck out of the earth causes this to happen. Could it also be that sucking out what might cool the earth, oil and such, be part of the reason for earthquakes and even volcanoes acting up.
Sure, sinkholes, earthquakes and volcanoes will probably always be active, as long as the earth does not die, but, wouldn't sucking the fluids from the earth eventually have an effect on all those things?
Just writing down what went through my head on this article.
