If I were a ship and the internet a sea, I'd say there's a storm approaching by the strength of the winds that blow from MSM foul and false at every news cycle waking hour.

If I were a Captain I'd alert the crew to man the mast and blow the horn to better assail the tempest that beset us from an ungodly beastly empire.

If I were a mere man I'd heed the creaking of my ship and follow the command of my Captain and arm myself to the hilt.

If I were a poet I'd sing you a song as the cloud approached to wile your fears away.

If I were a scientist I'd simply tell you lies.

If I were nothing more that a dot on a screen, a line on a tree, a curve in a wave or a fabric on a cloud and sometime soon a shadow in a shroud, I might be silent.

If I were not honest I'd not say .... A Great War is perhaps soon upon us at the clicking of the clock.
