and that is why I have often said we are a failed species by not growing or evolving -- there are individuals who do make the effort, but, by and large, the masses are content with the status quo -- I think we have proven that primates are not the best way to go, so, after we have annihilated ourselves, perhaps the process of making an intelligent creature could go to another mammalian species -- I think elephants would be a good idea since they seem to have a peaceful society
