From time to time I hear someone comment on the necessity of voting for better people. How laughable is that? The system is controlled by the oligarchs for their benefit alone. Look at the outcome of the questionable referendum in Scotland. Elections are rigged. When good people are elected, they quickly are brought to heel through bribery or intimidation. Vote? Not any more.

When I was young, I was a political junkie from an early age. In my teens, I could hardly wait to reach 21 so I could vote (it's 18 now). I took the responsibility seriously and still do. However, I'm no fool. I will continue to vote in local elections until I can determine their accuracy. The national level is a lost cause long ago.

The only change we can make now is to build another system that makes the TPTW system irrelevant.
