U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT ORDERS 160,000 EBOLA HAZMAT SUITS (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)
I bet.
I asked a top USA doctor if I should be having my family trained to dress and undress using a BSL-4 suit, the minimum level you need to avoid infection according to the CDC guidance.
I explained that an antechamber is easier to construct than you would think. You need positive air flow top to bottom which dumps the air out to a plenum behind the walls and allows it to flow upwards and out. The clean air comes in through a few hepa filters installed in the ceiling.
For the contaminated people who come in, you need a way to clean up, plenty of room to sit down, and some benches, etc... you can think it all through.
The doc was nonchalant.
It seems like the CDC is trying SO HARD to avoid using the word "airborne."
"Close contact is defined as being within approximately 3 feet (1 meter) of an EVD patient or within the patient’s room or care area for a prolonged period of time"
