I am getting my concealed carry permit and am joining The Well Armed Woman which gets me discounts on range practice, accessories and pistol training. My goal is to be proficient and accurate with my weapon. Training and practice are required to have effective instinctive shooting in a crisis situation.

Using intuition to avoid being in a dangerous place helps, too.
