Why not? Humanity wins few prizes in my book.

Listened to Coast to Coast last night to a historian/archeologist who specifically searches for evidence of ancient past cultures. Based on his and others' research, he concludes that there was a high tech global culture before 12,000 years ago, and, that culture was destroyed by combined natural and man made disasters including nuclear war.

IMO, humanity has reached a choke point where life and death decisions are required. We may off ourselves through rank stupidity, or, we may be "rebooted" by Earth and Sun. The current situation simply cannot go on for much longer.

I don't have coast to coast to listen to CatFan but the message is clear. I agree. The hour is late and there is not much we can do now other than to hunker down in hope the errant missiles miss us in the increasingly vain hope we survive to see a brighter day. But I will not give up .. give in.. I'm as angry as a bucket of chilly chips to think the powers that be consider us mere mortals nought but berries on an abacus.

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.
