I agree with you up to a point. God is a human concept that we can grasp with our very limited minds. IMO the reality is so profound and great that we must keep using the God concept just to function. Again, IMO, each of us can be compared to "God" as an atom is comparable to the human body, only smaller and less significant.

Most humans believe religion because it makes them feel better in some way. Hard, cold reality is too much to bear for most. I just wish that the behavior of folks who follow religion would greatly improve.
