FYI

The Eusing Registry Cleaner download was blocked and deleted by my antivirus program. Apparently there is some issue with the cleaner.

I have been using it for a couple of years with no issues.

Antivirus software sees OTHER helper software as
a threat sometimes, even when it is NOT a threat.

If this occurs with a program I really want to install,
I download the software to a flash drive, in a folder
created just for the task.

( That way I can install over and over if needed)

I then place a COPY of the download in another folder
on my computer. I install from the copy, keeping the
original on the flash drive as a backup.

Once I get the software in a folder on my computer, if
one of my other 'helpers' blocks it or causes issues, I
RENAME the software in the folder on my computer.

It works most of the time. The over-protective antivirus
does not recognize it now.

Also ..........

I have had to do this trick a couple times to get rid
of Trojans or other bugs that had disabled my Spybot,
for instance.

The bug would not allow me to reinstall Spybot.

I renamed my Spybot exe. 'Pappys Little Helper.exe ',
installed it and, *boom* got that bug out of there.

This will work with 'self contained' exes.
If the download has to refer back to the internet to
install, it may not work.

I use my ZoneAlarm fire wall to stop all internet
activity while installing things, anyhow.

I think some software is JEALOUS of other software.
It sure seems that way.........

Best wishes,
