It's been a sad day but so much better knowing that I was going to be able to give Floyd a proper send off. I hope to be back to a little bit more 'normal' tomorrow and back. I will be writing each of you a personal note to thank you. You are all so empathetic and generous. Thank you.

I know how some think that it's silly to become so attached to an animal. But my house feels so empty tonight. It really does. Floyd will be taken to Companions Forever in the morning. A Friend is coming by to help to life the big guy into the auto. The bloating from the sickness made him so much more heavy, I could hardly move today just from trying to save him the other night.

I thank all of you, not only for your contributions but for your understanding of just how special relationships with non-humans can be so very special and loving. Thank you. I love you all so much and hope each and every one of you are as lucky as I was to have a special animal in my life like my smiling Prince Floyd.
