I went back last year and it had changed alot, I would be interested to know where in Bali your friends are living Gimp, if they are still managing to live their cheaply.

Yes of course they live like kings but I'm told Wine is expensive. Being in the tropics .. it's an import and bless the Indo's they still have a thing called import tariff ... a tax to protect local industry. Something we lost many years ago .. Read Agenda 21. A subject for another day. ;)

As to where my friends live.. well it's about an hour from the international airport depending upon road traffic conditions which I'm lead to believe has become a bit of an issue over there... As in: Clogged.
