"RATIONING BEGINS, STATES CUT PRESCRIPTION DRUG BENEFITS"

Notice which drugs are EXCLUDED from being rationed in the following quote from

"Since June, Alabama has had the nation’s stingiest Medicaid drug benefit after limiting adults to one brand-name drug. HIV and psychiatric drugs were excluded. On Aug. 1 the state will relax the limit to its previous level — four brand-name drugs — after the restriction saved more money than expected and the state received money as part of a settlement with a pharmaceutical company."

It seems to me that "they" are thinking let's get a lot of people addicted to "legal" drugs then suddenly keep them from being able to obtain those drugs. Some of this cold turkey action can kill. Other people may choose paying for the drugs instead of paying for their housing. But then on the other side, won't this be fought by big pharmaceutical companies that might lose profits?

If YOU are using "legal" drugs, if at all possible get OFF of them now, researching your way to health without drugs. There ARE many drugs prescribed for symptoms that would go away if you would live a more healthy lifestyle. Might as well find out how to do that before your drugs are suddenly difficult for you to obtain. (Besides, you might feel better and live longer by eliminating some of those poisons.)

Those HIV and psychiatric drugs?

HIV is not a disease. AIDS is not a disease. AIDS is a syndrome or a group of symptoms from diseases that take hold of you when your immune system becomes compromised or destroyed, usually destroyed by stress. That stress is very often the stress of abusing your body with drugs ("legal" or illegal). Of course there are other high stress problems that can also contribute. Read the book "Roger's Recovery From AIDS" by Bob Owen.
