UPDATE ON MANDATORY FRENCH BREATHALIZERS

My friend's brother was a notorious drinker who got himself in the law's grasp with drunk driving as a repeat offender.

He ended up getting to have a car to get to work only, which had to have a breathalyzer hooked in to the ignition. Supposedly, the car wouldn't start without him blowing into it with no alcohol in his system.

Well, his fortune was such that the unit worked in reverse. He always had to get someone who had been drinking to blow into the thing so the car could be started.

Ah, such a sweet deal.
