You are SO correct with your post above. The very best way to deal with those types is "turn the other cheek", and do it while only words are flying BEFORE physical harm is done. No need to protect pride. (There ARE more reasons than just obeying those words in the Bible than you read at first glance, aren't they?)
Hopefully that kind will not come to your house to steal food, etc., but that at least is not AS likely AS soon where you live as in big cities.
I do appreciate your series of posts here. It certainly teaches the need for preparation, plus how to deal with people. Neighbors help each other. Avoid trouble. Thanks. ---- It also made me remember a certain person here on STA becoming afraid to use her generator because people were stealing them -- like what might happen when such thieves arrive. All sorts of things to plan out BEFORE the need arrives.
