Personally, I haven't noticed the difference. I find lengthy unwashed persons the vilest smelling of all animals. I can't stand myself after 12 hours, but I generally keep it to 1 shower in 24, barring unusual circumstances. I'm sorry, but I don't think wet dogs smell as bad.

Then there's the cats who are generally pretty agreeable to the nose, but they do groom themselves rather often. It's a bit much for me, not to mention I'm not that limber.
