WORLD FUSION MUSIC

I have always loved fusion .... It's funny but these videos reminded me of being in group of musicians in the early 60's who were discussing the evolution of the music scene, and several of them predicted that this "fusion" would evolve. Back then music was pretty much in distinct categories still... you know, jazz, folk, rock n roll, soul, ethnic.. etc.... They said that very soon these different forms would "fuse" into a new kind of music that represented much more than the standard fare.... And here we are. Wonderful stuff. World music... fusing many cultures into a collaborative new form of musical expression... Thanks gimp
