ANNULAR ECLIPSE THING, COUPLE OF PICS, GOOD ONES TO COME

Dear STA Readers, Writers, Vloggers,

It was a nearly cloudless sky..... 88F... rather warm.. and dry as a bone.

Enormous clouds of dust roiled behind the truck, on the journey to the sighting place we chose.

I had luckily borrowed 3 welding hood lenses.. so having an actual look directly at it was possible for everyone there. We made a picnic out of it..

I got one fairly decent photo as it was starting which I will post.. then my camera didnt like trying to focus on the eclipse..lol.. And I helped a friend get pictures.. I held the welding hood lens in front of their camera while they messed with everything else..lol.. We got some good ones, but I need to get them from the gang.

Sorry about the three lens flares...lol.. No it isnt Niburu, or "X"..lol.

Anywhooo, I was sort of surprised in how much of the ring was visible..seems I/we had a expectation of just a thin ring of light...just a VERY thin..

It looked more like a cheerio's, or a frikkin doughnut! lol.. anyhow, the moon was FAR from covering the disk of the sun.. thick ring of light.. You still could not notice it by looking at, or towards the sun with the naked eye..

The radiant heat of the sun DID get shut off, like stepping away from a electric room heater...lol..

The light was diminished, and strange odd shadows occured..

During height of eclipse, while my camera would not take a pic of the sun, it was more than agreeable to do some pics of the ODD Shadows cast..

In the photo you can see multiple eclipses, cast on the surface of the vehicle.

What you see on the truck door, a thousand times over, is basically what you saw through the welding hood lens. At one point it looked VERY MUCH like a moderately dilated EYE looking right into your soul...lol.. weird.

Will try to post some of those pics fairly soon as well, you will see what I mean.

The shadows on the dunes and embankments about 100 meters away were odd and eeery as well, but camera couldnt reach out there and get it, not enough telephoto.. But there were aura like halos around our shadows, and the arm movements, were followed and also haloed, it looked like smoke following our arm movements..
