Received 2 emails regarding this, both very informative. The second writer added a comment that my post was irrelevant and causing fear. I appreciate the frankness and specifics regarding the fire. It is always good having boots on the ground in the area of interest who can provide more specific information and perspective. Although I don't agree that the post was irrelevant, I wish you had given me permission to post your comments.

I want people to be aware of any possible dangers in their area so they can make informed decisions. If there is seismic activity near the Yellowstone Calderia, I want people to know. If there is seismic activity near the Madrid Fault, I want people to know. If there are wildfires, seismic activity or tornadoes near nuclear plants I want people to know. Etc,etc etc. My intention is not to cause fear. I expect people to examine the maps, gather information from reliable sources and make the best decisions possible for them and their loved ones.
