I have spent the last 24 hours trying to rid my computer of the "google redirect virus" which dropped a NASTY trojan on to my machine. I finally just had to reformat the hard drive! This virus is rampant and it evades ALL virus and malware protection! The following link has a way to rid yourself of this virus.

If you do find yourself with this virus, remember that you can't even reliably look for a fix online because your search results are bogus and pointed to the virus makers own sites!

So, bookmark this just in case....you will be glad you did.

I just wanted to share this - so you might not have to go through what I just went through.

NOTE; While this is called the "google redirect virus" it does effect other search engines as well.
