SPOT THE ALIEN (STA BREAKING NEWS and ARCHIVES)

Greetings.

You have to admit, it´s an intriguing idea,
aliens walking, talking and writing among us.
If so, they will of course frequent the internet,
where they can easily hide behind a false persona.
STA, for instance, would be a perfect place for a cool alien
to hang out at to tap the ''paranoia pulse''
and throw a few tidbits our way for the hell of it.

Do we have some potential alien candidates within our merry ranks?

If I were looking for signs of alien life on STA
this would be my 8 point checklist.

1. The person is unresponsive or responds clumsily
in discussions about emotional issues.

2. The person clearly has an agenda, though the nature
of that agenda may be somewhat unclear.

3. The person uses words, phrases and sayings in
an unusual manner and constructs sentences oddly.

4. The person likes to write in a vague style, hinting,
insinuating, leading, manipulating, testing the water, etc.

5. The person can be very patronizing at times,
displaying brazen arrogance.

6. The person becomes nasty when challenged.

7. The person considers a mosquito taking a dump
on a Winston Light hilarious.

8. The person is obviously intelligent, yet displays
stunning ignorance in some areas of common knowledge.

Feel free to add to or subtract from this list
if you think I am getting too close.

Just think about it while you are out and about in your mundane day-to-day life activities.
Now, when I say aliens, most people think of the regular little grey men that is popular among movies and television. Or you may go to the other extreme and think about the creature designed by H.R. Giger for the movie "ALIEN" with all the tubes and extending teeth.

Well, if that's what your thinking... you would be very wrong.

The aliens that walk among us are more along the lines of the ones that were featured in "Men In Black". They are in disguise. They are trying very hard to blend in, yet failing horribly at the same time.''
