CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS PHOTO TO ME?

Greetings

This was taken last Christmas.
It´s my wife with a bowl of mushroom soup,
but what is that smoky trail in front of and to her right?
No candles were lit, I don´t smoke in the house and it´s
not incense either so I am a bit baffled.
Something wrong with the camera perhaps?
