FIREBALL SIGHTING IN MD
STA readers;
What a treat, just minutes ago at about 9:30 pm EDT wife and I were talking after dinner on our porch and we saw a light low in the South moving East to West kind of lazily. It was bigger than Jupiter at first and was silvery white and as it moved West it grew in size (to about one third moon size) and got greenish blue and shed orange sparks. We didn't get to see its full glory due to the many tall trees on the South and West of our lot. Somebody got a great view to the West of here in Central MD. Trajectory was very flat and headed due West. Hope others got to see it and I am curious how it finished. Off to watch Frontline now.
