MARS: CLEARED LAND NEAR RIVER IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE JUNGLE *PIC*

by Storm, Sunday, April 16, 2006, 04:55

Hello All,

Thank you very much for the support emails. I know the subject of life on Mars is a controversial one. I would really like to see space exploration on a much greater scale happen. As I have said before, my hopes are to inspire support for further space exploration. It is unfortunate that our best technology for space travel is being kept secret by what I feel is criminal entities in our own government and others, because I think the technology could be used to power our planet with clean energy and provide a way to repair the environmental damage that some on this planet seem not to care about. This technology could be guarded and still hooked up to the energy grid to provide low cost clean energy and greatly improve the living conditions for people around the world. This also would allow resources to be diverted to education for population control, medical and food to help the great amount of suffering on this world. If people didn't suffer and greed was reduced the need for war would also be greatly reduced. I feel there is almost never a need for war, except by those ruled by greed.

Because the subject of life on Mars is a controversial one, I am posting this closeup of an image taken by the European Space Agency Mars Express spacecraft. I would like to remind people of the basic strong evidence of life on Mars. Please take a look closely. The full image is for the most part sandy colored and rough terrain, and mountainous regions can be seen. The Valles Marineris from which this section is photographed from is the largest feature on Mars. Some have claimed that this valley is a split in the planet or was caused by giant lightning. I think the better explanation is more along the lines of the Grand Canyon. I white water rafted 22 miles down the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon and videoed my rafting for much of the Canyon. The Grand Canyon on Earth was formed because of a natural bulge in the planet, and the river has worn down a canyon through this bulge. I think that the same may be true for Mars. Besides water erosion, I think there are signs of intelligent modification as well.

If you look closely you can see what looks like a riverbed near the center of this image. Also, this image is filled with what looks like lush, green vegetation cover. You can see that it is much like jungle cover because the deep green actually covers over the rough terrain and has a three dimensional aspect rather than being flat on the ground. What I think is green vegetation has grown in the valley where you would expect water and nutrients to collect to feed such vegetation, and the climate could also be somewhat protected due to the natural shape of the canyon. In the Grand Canyon on Earth, the temperature is much more temperate even when just above the canyon is very hot, or cold. The river replenishes the nutrients and serves as a source for life to flourish.

Another very interesting feature to this section is the area around what looks like a river in the center of this image. Instead of what I think is vegetation growing all through the valley right down to the river edge, it looks as if the areas along the shoreline of the river have been cleared. On Earth you see this type of formation where civilization and inhabitation has cleared the vegetation away along the riverbanks for inhabitation and to use the resources for life to thrive. For these reasons I believe that this is strong evidence that Mars has vegetation, liquid water, and temperatures and atmosphere like some places on Earth. Other spacecraft have measured temperatures around 70 degrees and a great amount of water on Mars. I think this is strong evidence that life is currently flourishing on Mars, and that there is strong evidence of modification by higher life forms.

Good Luck All,
Norman Bryden
