Kent,
There appears to be very strong evidence indicating that at least "hot spot" volcanoes are being driven by cold fusion/Geo-fusion reactions. I have long entertained strong doubts concerning the theory that volcanic eruptions are caused by tectonic plates rubbing together for the simple fact that these plates are rubbing together all the time and in areas where there is no evidence of volcanic activity whatsoever. Geo-fusion is a far more plausible theory if for no other reason than the fact that 99.99% of all volcanoes are in close proximity to palladium bearing subduction zones where deep oceanic waters containing high concentrations of deuterium, essential to sustaining a cold fusion reaction, come together.
